Hello All

I am based out of San Carlos, CA (KSQL). I bought N65CG in October. It is a 1982 Seneca III. Due to schedule and weather, it is still up in Couer D' Alane, ID.

Hi folks,

it is really cool to join that specific forum!

I am from Germany (near Frankfurt), bought 2021 a 1983 Seneca III for private use and hope to be able to help (and get helped) by specific problems.

Cheers Michael

Hi Michael, Welcome. Do you have any pictures of your Seneca? If so, send to me at pa34owners@gmail.com and I'll post to www.pa34owners.org. What field are you based on?

Hi Brad, you have already done that (I sent you a selection of seven pics, you posted them all - the white/brown with the dog inside).
The hombase is EDFE.

Cheers Michael

Question for Seneca III and up users: For single engine training, what power setting do you use for zero thrust?

I believe this is stated in the POH.

Based on standard Piper Seneca V (PA-34-220T) training procedures derived from the Pilot's Operating Handbook (POH) and standardized operating procedures, the zero-thrust setting used to simulate a feathered propeller during single-engine training is:
Manifold Pressure (MP): 11 inches (11” MP)
Propeller RPM: 2000 RPM
