I work for Marsh Brothers Aviation and am looking for new PMA/STC project ideas. is there a frequent issue that keeps coming up? real headaches to owners and Maintenance shops in the P. Seneca-Fleet? I am after a system or part that can significantly be improved upon by the integration of a self-lubricated polymer bushing, bearing, or roller. In the case of a dynamic application ( Brake master cylinder) I could integrate an elastomeric-type of polymer which easily replaces the typical Nitrile O-rings.
Another criteria for the project is cost and procurement issues. Should the part in question be too expensive or difficult to procure, I can look into as well.
